In a commanding performance, the Denver Broncos triumphed over the Pittsburgh Steelers with a final score of 49-17 in Week 14 of the 2027 season. This victory not only boosts the Broncos' playoff hopes but also serves as a significant confidence builder as they head into the final stretch of the season. Leading the charge for Denver was quarterback Jared Lorenzen, who threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense efficiently. Meanwhile, Jaxon Reinertson was a force on the ground, racking up an impressive 186 rushing yards, which helped control the tempo of the game. Zack Weiss, despite the loss, had a standout performance for the Steelers, accumulating 149 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide. Defensively, the Broncos disrupted the Steelers' rhythm, highlighted by Fred Warner's interception that stifled a potential scoring drive and shifted momentum firmly in Denver's favor. The Broncos' defense complemented their offensive explosion, forcing the Steelers to play from behind early and often. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Broncos scored three unanswered touchdowns, effectively sealing the game and leaving the Steelers struggling to catch up.
