In a tightly contested battle, the Chicago Bears narrowly defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-14 in Week 3 of the 2028 season. Both teams entered the matchup looking to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Bears who came out on top, securing a critical road victory. Quarterback Juan Hardin shined for Chicago, throwing for two touchdowns and leading the offense effectively. On the ground, De'Von Achane was a force, rushing for 129 yards, while the Jaguars' Fernando Mendoza led all passers with 209 yards, showcasing his own talent despite the loss. Sam LaPorta was the standout receiver for Jacksonville with 74 yards, but it wasn’t enough to propel his team to victory. Defensively, the Bears made pivotal plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Jared Verse recorded a crucial sack, while Cole Bishop's interception late in the game thwarted a potential game-tying drive for Jacksonville. The combination of timely defensive stops and Chicago's efficient offensive execution ultimately determined the outcome of this hard-fought contest.
