In a thrilling showdown, the Cleveland Browns held off the Los Angeles Rams with a final score of 35-28, securing a vital victory in Week 18 of the 2027 season. This game not only showcased the Browns' resilience but also emphasized their playoff aspirations, as they look to make a deep run this postseason. Cleveland's Caleb Williams was the standout performer, throwing for 272 yards and leading his team with precision. He connected with Chris Olave for a game-high 101 receiving yards, while Zach Charbonnet added a solid ground game with 67 rushing yards. The Rams' Jalen Milroe kept things competitive with two touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Browns' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Browns made key plays, with Jacob Rodriguez delivering a crucial sack that disrupted the Rams' momentum. The turning point came in the second half when the Browns' defense tightened up, forcing a turnover that gave their offense a short field. Despite a strong effort from Carson Schwesinger of the Rams, who recorded seven tackles, Cleveland's balanced attack proved too much in the end.
