In a tightly contested matchup, the Cleveland Browns narrowly defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-21 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. Both teams fought hard in a game that had playoff implications, but it was the Browns who ultimately emerged victorious, improving their record as they look to make a statement early in the season. Denzel Ward's interception was pivotal, halting a Buccaneers drive that could have shifted momentum late in the game. Carson Schwesinger's leadership on defense, highlighted by his 11 total tackles, ensured the Buccaneers struggled to find rhythm. Tampa Bay's Yaya Diaby provided some pressure with a sack, but it was the Browns' defensive resilience that sealed the victory.
