The Cleveland Browns kicked off the 2026 season with a commanding 17-0 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, showcasing their defensive prowess and efficient offensive execution. With both teams eager to start the new year on a high note, the Browns established their dominance early, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Deshaun Watson led the charge for Cleveland, throwing for 95 yards and managing the game effectively. Quinshon Judkins was a standout on the ground, racking up 80 rushing yards and providing a solid foundation for the Browns’ offense. Jerry Jeudy contributed with 40 receiving yards, making key catches to keep drives alive and maintain momentum for his team. Defensively, the Browns were relentless, with Carson Schwesinger making a crucial interception that halted a potential Jaguars scoring drive. Although Bryan Bresee of Jacksonville recorded three tackles and a sack, it wasn't enough to shift the game's momentum. The turning point came when Schwesinger's interception allowed Cleveland to extend their lead, ultimately securing a shutout victory and setting a strong precedent for the season ahead.
