In an explosive Week 1 matchup, the Indianapolis Colts narrowly defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 48-40, in a thrilling display of offensive prowess. Both teams came out firing, but the Colts secured their victory in a game that set the tone for the 2026 season. Lamar Jackson showcased his elite talent for the Ravens, throwing for 372 yards and five touchdowns, while Courtland Sutton shined with 198 receiving yards. However, it was Jonathan Taylor who stole the show for Indianapolis, rushing for an impressive 184 yards, proving vital in maintaining control of the game and keeping the Ravens' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Colts made key plays when it mattered most, highlighted by Lewis Cine's interception that shifted momentum in the second half. While the Ravens' Mike Green recorded a sack, it was the Colts' ability to limit big plays and execute crucial tackles—led by Dadrion Taylor-Demerson with six total tackles—that ultimately sealed the deal in this high-scoring affair.
