In a closely contested matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 25-18, improving their record in Week 5 of the 2026 season. The victory was crucial for Seattle as they look to solidify their playoff aspirations in a competitive NFC West. Jalen Milroe led the Seahawks’ offense with a standout performance, throwing for 243 yards and keeping the chains moving throughout the game. While Brock Purdy managed to throw one touchdown for the 49ers, it was not enough to keep pace with Seattle's balanced attack. Christian McCaffrey contributed with 61 rushing yards, and George Kittle was the standout receiver for San Francisco, racking up 97 receiving yards. Defensively, the Seahawks made their mark with a critical performance from Julian Love, who not only recorded two interceptions but also disrupted the flow of the 49ers’ passing game. Nick Emmanwori added pressure with half a sack, but it was the turnovers that shifted momentum. The turning point came in the second half when Love's second interception set up a pivotal touchdown for Seattle, ultimately sealing the game and securing their victory.
