In a dominating performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cruised to a commanding 41-0 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Buccaneers solidify their position as a formidable force in the league, while the Cowboys face questions about their struggling defense and offensive production. Baker Mayfield led the charge for Tampa Bay, throwing for 159 yards and one touchdown, showcasing efficiency and precision throughout the game. Bucky Irving was a standout on the ground, racking up 83 rushing yards, while Emeka Egbuka emerged as a reliable target, amassing 68 receiving yards. The Buccaneers’ offense was relentless, consistently finding ways to exploit the Cowboys’ defensive gaps. Defensively, Tampa Bay completely stifled the Cowboys, allowing no points and forcing errors at critical moments. While Rashan Gary registered 1.5 sacks for Dallas, it wasn’t enough to shift the momentum. The game's turning point came early in the second half when the Buccaneers scored quickly, extending their lead and effectively sealing the fate of the Cowboys, who never found their rhythm on either side of the ball.
