In a commanding performance, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Houston Texans 17-0 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. The victory solidifies the Colts' position in the early playoff conversation, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Daniel Jones was the standout for Indianapolis, throwing for 220 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading the offense. Brenen Thompson was his favorite target, racking up 92 receiving yards and providing key plays that kept drives alive. The Colts' offensive line provided solid protection, allowing Jones to operate comfortably throughout the game. The Colts' defense was equally impressive, with Khalil Mack wreaking havoc on the Texans' offensive line, notching three sacks that disrupted any momentum Houston tried to build. Cam Taylor-Britt's interception sealed the deal, but it was the Colts’ relentless pressure and ability to stifle the Texans’ offense that defined the game. The turning point came early in the second half when Mack's sack led to a fumble recovery, allowing Indianapolis to extend their lead and put the game out of reach for Houston.
