In a commanding performance, the Detroit Lions topped the Chicago Bears 32-0 in Week 12 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations while leaving the Bears searching for answers. With this victory, the Lions not only dominated the game but also showcased their offensive prowess against a struggling Chicago squad. Quarterback Jared Goff led the charge for Detroit, throwing for 228 yards and a touchdown, while Jahmyr Gibbs added 71 rushing yards to keep the Bears' defense on its heels. Jameson Williams was a primary target, racking up 77 receiving yards, which contributed significantly to the Lions' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Lions were equally impressive, with Ennis Rakestraw Jr. snagging an interception to halt any potential momentum from the Bears. Montez Sweat of Chicago did his best to disrupt Goff, registering 1.5 sacks, but the Bears' inability to score left them unable to capitalize on any defensive efforts. The turning point came early in the second half when a critical interception by Rakestraw shifted the momentum squarely in favor of the Lions, sealing Chicago's fate.
