In a tightly contested matchup, the Denver Broncos narrowly defeated the Arizona Cardinals 17-16 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. Both teams entered the game with playoff aspirations, making this victory crucial for Denver as they look to solidify their position in the standings. Offensively, Jacoby Brissett led the Cardinals with a strong performance, throwing for 249 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to move the chains. Michael Wilson was his favorite target, racking up 112 receiving yards, but it was J.K. Dobbins who made the difference for the Broncos with 73 rushing yards, helping Denver control the tempo in the second half. Defensively, Brandon Jones was a standout for the Broncos, recording nine total tackles to help stifle the Cardinals' offensive momentum. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Broncos' defense made a crucial stop, allowing Denver to hold onto their slim lead and secure the win. Zaven Collins contributed to Arizona's efforts with 1.5 sacks, but it was not enough to keep the Broncos from outlasting them in this nail-biter.
