In a decisive Week 6 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Washington Commanders with a final score of 35-10, solidifying their position in the playoff race. This victory not only improves the 49ers' record but also highlights their dominance on both sides of the ball as they continue to build momentum in the 2026 season. Brock Purdy was the star of the show, showcasing his skills with an impressive 270 passing yards and three touchdown passes. He found a reliable target in George Kittle, who racked up 91 receiving yards, making crucial catches that helped keep the chains moving. The 49ers' offense proved relentless, effectively executing their game plan throughout the contest. Defensively, San Francisco made critical plays that turned the tide in their favor. Nick Bosa's sack and Ji'Ayir Brown's interception were pivotal moments that stifled Washington's momentum and shifted the game's dynamics. Meanwhile, the Commanders' Sonny Styles led the defense with nine total tackles, but it was not enough to contain the 49ers' explosive offensive performance.
