In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Indianapolis Colts 34-16, solidifying their position in the early season standings. The Texans displayed their offensive prowess, with both teams looking to gain momentum as they head deeper into the 2026 season. C.J. Stroud put on a standout performance, throwing for 216 yards and two touchdowns. He was ably supported by David Montgomery, who dominated the ground game with a staggering 187 rushing yards. Nico Collins also made his mark, racking up 155 receiving yards, showcasing the Texans' ability to move the ball effectively through the air and on the ground. Defensively, the Texans made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Kamari Ramsey's interception was particularly pivotal, halting a Colts drive and allowing Houston to extend their lead. Although DeForest Buckner recorded two sacks for Indianapolis, it wasn't enough to overcome the Texans' offensive firepower, making this game a clear statement from Houston as they continue to build their season.
