In a commanding display to open the 2026 season, the Baltimore Ravens crushed the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of 57-8. This matchup showcased the Ravens' offensive firepower and set a tone for the rest of the season, leaving the Colts scrambling for answers following a disappointing performance at home. Lamar Jackson led the charge for Baltimore, throwing for an impressive 182 yards and four touchdowns, proving why he remains a top-tier quarterback in the league. Derrick Henry added a strong ground game with 89 rushing yards, while Mark Andrews was a reliable target, racking up 93 receiving yards. Together, they orchestrated a balanced attack that overwhelmed the Colts' defense throughout the game. Defensively, the Ravens made their presence felt, with Nnamdi Madubuike recording a sack and Roquan Smith snagging an interception, further complicating the Colts' attempts to find rhythm. The game's turning point came early in the second quarter when Smith's interception halted a potential Colts scoring drive, allowing Baltimore to capitalize and extend their lead. The Colts struggled to recover from that moment, as the Ravens' defense consistently stifled any momentum the home team tried to build.
