The New England Patriots kicked off the 2026 season with an impressive 41-17 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. In a game that showcased both offensive firepower and defensive prowess, the Patriots made an early statement in Week 1, setting the tone for their campaign ahead. Drake Maye was the standout performer for the Patriots, throwing for 320 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading the offense. He found his favorite target in Kyle Williams, who racked up an impressive 215 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and make big plays. Meanwhile, the Seahawks struggled to keep pace, with Jadarian Price managing only 75 rushing yards against a formidable New England defense. The Patriots' defense played a crucial role in the outcome, with Harold Landry III recording two sacks and Carlton Davis III snagging an interception. The turning point came late in the first half when Davis's interception halted a potential Seahawks drive, allowing the Patriots to capitalize and extend their lead. Overall, New England's balanced attack and strong defensive performance set a dominant tone for the season.
