The Carolina Panthers dominated the Detroit Lions with a resounding 56-13 victory in Week 4 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Panthers showcased their offensive prowess and solidified their position as a formidable contender in the league. Trey Lance was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 344 yards and an astounding seven touchdown passes. His connection with Tyreek Hill, who recorded 128 receiving yards, was pivotal in dismantling the Lions' defense. Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson led the ground game for Detroit with 125 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Carolina's explosive offense. Defensively, Yaya Diaby made a significant impact for the Panthers, racking up five total tackles and two sacks, which disrupted the Lions' rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Carolina scored three touchdowns in a matter of minutes, effectively putting the game out of reach for Detroit and sealing the Panthers' commanding win.
