The Pittsburgh Steelers cruised to a commanding 35-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8 of the 2027 season, solidifying their status as a playoff contender. With this win, the Steelers not only improve their record but also demonstrated their offensive prowess against a struggling Colts team. Dante Moore was the standout performer for Pittsburgh, throwing for 252 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Pat Freiermuth played a crucial role in the passing game, racking up 98 receiving yards and providing Moore with a reliable target throughout the game. Meanwhile, the Colts' Jonathan Taylor was held to just 37 rushing yards, unable to find any rhythm against the Steelers' defense. Defensively, the Steelers made a significant impact with Jaquan Brisker recording two interceptions, which were pivotal in shifting momentum. The turning point came in the second quarter when Brisker’s first pick set up a quick touchdown, giving Pittsburgh a commanding lead that the Colts never recovered from. The Steelers’ defensive unit stifled the Colts' progress, forcing them into tough situations and ultimately sealing the game with consistent pressure.
