In a thrilling Week 13 matchup, the Washington Commanders outlasted the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 41-24, solidifying their playoff ambitions. With both teams fighting for crucial positioning, Washington delivered a commanding performance, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive tenacity. Commanders quarterback LaNorris Sellers shone brightly, tossing four touchdown passes and leading his team efficiently down the field. Kewan Lacey was a dual threat, amassing 119 rushing yards and adding 130 receiving yards, making him a nightmare for the Falcons' defense. Arch Manning also put up impressive numbers for Atlanta, throwing for 383 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Washington’s offensive explosion. Defensively, the Commanders made their mark with a stellar performance from Trey Amos, who recorded three interceptions and changed the momentum of the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Amos's first pick set up a quick touchdown, allowing Washington to build an insurmountable lead. Additionally, Mike Sainristil's six total tackles anchored the defense, helping to stifle any comeback attempts from Atlanta.
