In a crucial Week 13 matchup, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Philadelphia Eagles 24-17, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season winds down. This victory not only boosts Minnesota's standing but also puts pressure on Philadelphia, who now faces a tougher road to the postseason. J.J. McCarthy shined for the Vikings, throwing for 231 yards and effectively leading his team through the air. Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts managed to keep the Eagles competitive with two touchdown passes, but his efforts were not enough to overcome the Vikings' balanced attack. Eric Singleton Jr. was a standout receiver, racking up 88 yards and providing crucial catches to sustain drives. Defensively, the Vikings made key stops, including a pivotal sack from Dallas Turner that disrupted the Eagles' rhythm in the second half. Although Andrew Mukuba of the Eagles was a force on the other side with eight tackles, it was Minnesota's ability to pressure Hurts that proved decisive. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Vikings' defense held strong, forcing a turnover on downs that sealed the game and allowed Minnesota to run out the clock.
