The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cruised to a commanding 37-3 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations while further dampening Atlanta's hopes. With this decisive win, Tampa Bay continues to build momentum as they approach the postseason, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. led the Buccaneers' offensive onslaught, throwing for 308 yards and two touchdowns, while De'Von Achane contributed significantly with 95 rushing yards. Emeka Egbuka emerged as a primary target, racking up 113 receiving yards, keeping the Falcons' defense on its heels throughout the game. The Buccaneers' offense displayed a balanced attack that proved too much for Atlanta to handle. On the defensive side, the Buccaneers limited the Falcons to just three points, effectively stifling their offensive efforts. Divine Deablo of the Falcons led his team with 10 tackles, but the lack of pressure on Richardson allowed him to find his rhythm early. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Buccaneers scored back-to-back touchdowns, creating a gap that Atlanta could never overcome.
