In a commanding display to kick off the 2027 season, the Cleveland Browns topped the Minnesota Vikings 42-14. This matchup marked an important start for both teams, with Cleveland looking to make a statement early on while Minnesota aimed to establish their ground game. Cleveland's offense was firing on all cylinders, led by quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for an impressive 221 yards and five touchdowns. KC Concepcion Jr. was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 103 yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and find space against the Vikings' defense. On the defensive side, the Browns made crucial plays, including a key interception by Carrington Valentine that shifted momentum. Kayvon Thibodeaux's sack added to the pressure on Minnesota's offense, limiting their effectiveness throughout the game. The turning point came midway through the second quarter, when Green's fourth touchdown pass effectively put the game out of reach, allowing Cleveland to cruise to victory.
