In a pivotal Week 10 matchup, the New Orleans Saints defeated the Carolina Panthers 35-24, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Both teams entered the contest looking to bolster their postseason hopes, but it was the Saints who emerged victorious with a strong offensive showing. Tyler Shough led the Saints’ charge, throwing for 241 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make big plays when it mattered most. He connected with Drake London for 91 receiving yards, providing a reliable target downfield. Meanwhile, Chuba Hubbard had a standout performance for the Panthers, rushing for 167 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Saints' explosive offense. Defensively, the Saints made critical plays that shifted the momentum. Kool-Aid McKinstry's interception was a game-changing moment, halting a potential scoring drive from the Panthers and allowing New Orleans to extend their lead. While Beanie Bishop Jr. led the Panthers with six tackles, the Saints' defense was able to make timely stops that ultimately sealed the victory.
