The Philadelphia Eagles topped the Jacksonville Jaguars in a commanding 79-34 victory in Week 5 of the 2026 season. This win not only boosts the Eagles’ confidence but also sends a clear message about their offensive prowess as they continue to establish themselves as a force in the league. Joe Milton was the standout for Philadelphia, throwing for an impressive six touchdowns and leading an offensive onslaught that overwhelmed the Jaguars' defense. Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence put on a show for Jacksonville, amassing 487 passing yards and keeping his team competitive despite the final score. Terry McLaurin also shined in the receiving game, racking up 127 yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Eagles. Defensively, the Eagles were anchored by Carlton Davis III, who tallied five tackles, but it was the relentless pressure from the Eagles' front that disrupted the Jaguars' rhythm. The turning point came early in the second half when a series of turnovers from Jacksonville allowed Philadelphia to stretch their lead, turning the game into a one-sided affair. Despite a few bright spots for Jacksonville, it was clear that the Eagles' defense, combined with their explosive offense, was too much to handle.
