In a thrilling Week 3 showdown, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Indianapolis Colts 28-24. The win propels the Texans forward in the early stages of the 2026 season, while the Colts are left to regroup after coming up just short in a hard-fought contest. Both teams displayed resilience, but Houston's edge in key moments sealed their victory. Offensively, C.J. Stroud led the charge for the Texans, throwing for an impressive 343 yards and two touchdowns. His favorite target of the night, Jaylin Noel, was unstoppable, racking up 177 receiving yards. Despite the Colts' DJ Giddens leading his team with 48 rushing yards, it wasn't enough to outpace the Texans' air attack. Defensively, Houston's Will Anderson Jr. was a game-changer, making his presence felt with six tackles and an astounding five sacks. His relentless pursuit of the quarterback disrupted the Colts' rhythm and was vital in keeping Indianapolis at bay. Derek Stingley Jr. contributed with a crucial interception, helping to shift the momentum in Houston's favor at a critical juncture.
