In a commanding performance to kick off the 2026 season, the Arizona Cardinals decisively beat the Los Angeles Chargers, finishing with a final score of 56-10. This Week 1 matchup set a high bar for both teams, with the Cardinals showcasing their offensive firepower against a Chargers squad looking to find its footing. Leading the charge for Arizona was quarterback Carson Beck, who threw for three touchdowns, effectively orchestrating a potent aerial attack. Meanwhile, Jeremiyah Love torched the Chargers' defense with an astounding 418 rushing yards, establishing himself as a key weapon and keeping the chains moving throughout the game. Los Angeles struggled to keep pace, with Justin Herbert managing just 215 passing yards, well below the expectations for the talented signal-caller. On the defensive side, the Cardinals made their presence felt, with Will Johnson standing out with five total tackles and an interception that shifted momentum in favor of Arizona. Khalil Mack did his best to apply pressure for the Chargers, recording two sacks, but it wasn’t enough to stem the tide.
