The Cleveland Browns kicked off the 2026 season with a commanding 49-27 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. With both teams eager to start the year strong, the Browns showcased their offensive prowess, setting the tone for a promising campaign ahead. Leading the charge for Cleveland was quarterback Taylen Green, who delivered a stellar performance with 325 passing yards and five touchdown passes. His ability to connect with key targets allowed the Browns to build a decisive lead. While Jacksonville's Bhayshul Tuten managed 85 rushing yards and Brian Thomas Jr. had an impressive 155 receiving yards, it wasn't enough to keep pace with Cleveland's explosive offense. Defensively, the Jaguars struggled to contain the Browns, with Travon Walker registering a solid performance with five total tackles and 1.5 sacks. However, the turning point came when Cleveland's offense went on an unanswered scoring spree, effectively sealing the game before the Jaguars could mount a comeback. With their defense unable to find a solution, Jacksonville fell behind early and could not recover, allowing Cleveland to cruise to victory.
