In a decisive Week 16 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the New Orleans Saints with a commanding final score of 38-10, solidifying their playoff hopes as the season comes to a close. The Texans showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, leaving the Saints struggling to keep pace throughout the contest. C.J. Stroud led the way for Houston, throwing for 203 yards and two touchdowns, effectively orchestrating the offense. Quinshon Judkins added a stellar performance on the ground, racking up 135 rushing yards that kept the Saints' defense on their heels. Meanwhile, Drake London was the standout for New Orleans, amassing 111 receiving yards, but his production was not enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Texans were relentless, with Derek Stingley Jr. recording a team-high seven tackles, while A.J. Epenesa contributed significantly with two sacks. The turning point came early in the second half when Jalen Pitre intercepted a pass, halting any momentum the Saints had hoped to build and allowing Houston to extend their lead decisively. This performance not only showcased the Texans' balanced attack but also their impressive defensive prowess as they gear up for the playoffs.
