In a Week 4 showdown, the Houston Texans topped the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 38-21, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The win was crucial for the Texans as they aim to establish momentum early in the season, while the Cowboys will look to regroup after this setback. C.J. Stroud was the standout performer for Houston, throwing for three touchdowns and orchestrating a dynamic offense that kept the Cowboys on their heels. Dak Prescott led Dallas with 291 passing yards but couldn't find the end zone as effectively. Trey Benson was a dual threat for the Cowboys, racking up 109 rushing yards and 102 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Texans' offensive explosion. Defensively, the Texans made critical plays at key moments, with Kamari Lassiter recording two interceptions that shifted the momentum in Houston's favor. His performance, along with a sack from Will Anderson Jr., helped stifle Dallas' attempts to mount a comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Texans scored back-to-back touchdowns, building a lead that the Cowboys struggled to overcome.
