In a thrilling Week 4 matchup of the 2026 season, the Chicago Bears narrowly defeated the New York Jets with a final score of 21-20. Both teams entered the game looking to solidify their standings, but it was the Bears who emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Cade Klubnik showcased his skills for the Jets, throwing for 275 yards and three touchdowns, proving to be a formidable force in the passing game. However, it was Caleb Williams on the ground who made the biggest impact for the Bears, rushing for 91 yards and providing a necessary balance to the offense. Colston Loveland also contributed significantly, racking up 78 receiving yards to keep the drives alive. Defensively, the Bears relied on Coby Bryant’s leadership, as he recorded six total tackles to anchor the unit. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Bears' defense held strong, stifling a late Jets drive, ultimately allowing Chicago to secure the win and improve their season outlook. Despite David Bailey's 1.5 sacks for the Jets and Jamien Sherwood's interception, it was the Bears' resilience that sealed the victory.
