In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the Washington Commanders triumphed over the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 45-38, solidifying their early-season momentum. With both teams vying for supremacy in the division, this game was crucial for establishing dominance in the league. Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels put on a stellar performance, throwing for four touchdowns and leading his team to victory. Meanwhile, Seahawks signal-caller Sam Darnold also shone brightly, racking up an impressive 415 passing yards. On the ground, Jacory Croskey-Merritt contributed significantly for Washington with 85 rushing yards, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerged as Seattle's top target, amassing 174 receiving yards. Defensively, both teams had their moments, but the Commanders' Sonny Styles made a key impact with a crucial sack that stifled Seattle's momentum late in the game. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Daniels connected for a touchdown that pushed the lead to two scores, forcing the Seahawks to play catch-up. While the Seahawks' Julian Love led the defense with seven tackles, it wasn't enough to sway the outcome, as Washington's offense ultimately outlasted Seattle's late-game efforts.
