In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Giants narrowly defeated the Tennessee Titans 17-14, securing their second win of the season. Both teams entered Week 3 looking to establish momentum, but it was the Giants who managed to hold off a late-game surge by the Titans. Cam Ward of the Titans put in a strong performance, throwing for 198 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to find the end zone. However, it was Calvin Austin's ground game that kept the Giants competitive, with his 43 rushing yards helping to balance the offense. On the receiving end, Tony Pollard led with 74 yards, consistently moving the chains for Tennessee. Defensively, the Giants made crucial plays at key moments, spearheaded by Abdul Carter, who recorded two sacks to disrupt the Titans' rhythm. Jevon Holland's interception was a pivotal moment in the game, halting a potential scoring drive by Tennessee and shifting the momentum toward the Giants. With a solid defensive effort combined with timely offensive execution, New York emerged victorious in a battle that could have gone either way.
