In a tightly contested battle, the Tennessee Titans held off the Cleveland Browns with a final score of 29-26, improving their record as they head into the heart of the 2027 season. This victory was crucial for the Titans, as they aim to establish dominance in the AFC South. Leading the charge for Tennessee was quarterback Cam Ward, who delivered a standout performance with 278 passing yards and three touchdown passes. Ward also showcased his dual-threat capabilities by adding 79 rushing yards, proving to be a pivotal player in the Titans' offensive scheme. Isaiah Bond shone for the Browns, racking up 144 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. On the defensive side, Keldric Faulk was a game-changer for the Titans, recording three sacks that helped disrupt the Browns' offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Ward's ability to extend plays and connect on crucial passes allowed Tennessee to maintain possession and ultimately seal the victory. Despite a strong effort from Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who notched two interceptions, the Browns couldn't capitalize on those opportunities.
