The Kansas City Chiefs topped the Buffalo Bills 28-14 in a Week 12 matchup that solidified their playoff aspirations. With this victory, the Chiefs continue to assert their dominance in the AFC, while the Bills struggle to gain momentum as the season winds down. Patrick Mahomes was the standout performer for Kansas City, throwing for 200 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his trademark precision and poise. He connected frequently with Xavier Worthy, who racked up 96 receiving yards, proving to be a vital target throughout the game. Despite James Cook III's strong performance for Buffalo, gaining 68 rushing yards, the Bills could not keep pace with the high-flying Chiefs offense. Defensively, Kansas City made significant contributions, led by Jaden Hicks with five total tackles and R Mason Thomas, who intercepted a pass, swinging momentum back in the Chiefs' favor. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mahomes threw a touchdown pass to extend their lead, leaving Buffalo scrambling to catch up. Although Greg Rousseau recorded two sacks for the Bills, it wasn’t enough to offset the Chiefs' offensive output.
