The Atlanta Falcons topped the Detroit Lions with a commanding 35-13 victory in Week 11 of the 2027 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. This win was crucial for Atlanta as they look to maintain momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. Max Duggan was the star of the show for the Falcons, throwing for 245 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense effectively. Bijan Robinson added a powerful ground game, rushing for 105 yards, while Jahan Dotson was a reliable target, racking up 87 receiving yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that kept the Lions' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Falcons made key plays to stifle the Lions' offense, with James Pearce Jr. contributing with a sack that disrupted Detroit's rhythm. Although the Lions’ Jack Campbell led all defenders with 11 tackles, Atlanta's defense consistently applied pressure and limited scoring opportunities for Detroit. The turning point came in the second quarter when Duggan threw two quick touchdowns, turning a close game into a commanding lead that the Falcons would not relinquish.
