In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Giants narrowly defeated the Dallas Cowboys 27-21 in Week 17 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but the Giants emerged victorious, solidifying their position as a contender in the postseason race. Jaxson Dart led the Giants' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 255 yards and demonstrating poise in critical moments. Cam Skattebo was a force on the ground, racking up 114 rushing yards, while Dak Prescott of the Cowboys tossed two touchdown passes, keeping his team in the hunt until the very end. KaVontae Turpin also made his presence felt with 83 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Giants made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor, highlighted by Brian Burns, who recorded 1.5 sacks, and Tacario Davis, who intercepted a crucial pass. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Davis's interception halted a promising Cowboys drive, allowing the Giants to maintain their lead. DaRon Bland led the Cowboys' defense with 11 tackles, but it ultimately wasn't enough to overcome the Giants' critical defensive stops.
