In a thrilling Week 1 matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers took down the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 37-23, marking an impressive start to the 2027 season. The Steelers showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, setting the tone for a promising campaign ahead. Pittsburgh's Drew Allar led the charge with a solid performance, throwing for 231 yards, while DK Metcalf made his presence felt with 85 receiving yards. On the other side, Seattle's J.J. McCarthy threw three touchdown passes, demonstrating his ability to find the end zone, although it wasn't enough to secure a victory. Defensively, the Steelers made crucial plays that helped seal their victory, including an interception from Jalen Ramsey that halted a potential scoring drive for Seattle. With strong performances on both offense and defense, the Steelers are off to a strong start this season.
