The Los Angeles Chargers narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos 27-21 in a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2027 season. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert led the charge with an impressive 318 passing yards, connecting effectively with his receivers to keep the chains moving. While Denver's Bo Nix threw for two touchdowns, it was Chargers running back Keaton Mitchell who made crucial contributions, rushing for 58 yards and helping maintain balance in the offense. On the defensive side, the Chargers were bolstered by Keyron Crawford, who recorded 1.5 sacks, putting pressure on Nix and disrupting the Broncos' rhythm. The turning point came late in the game when the Chargers' defense stiffened, forcing a critical turnover that sealed the victory and allowed them to hold off a late Denver rally.
