In a closely contested matchup, the Cleveland Browns narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos 23-17 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum early in the season, this victory gives the Browns a crucial edge in the competitive AFC landscape. Cleveland's offense was led by quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for a touchdown, while Dylan Sampson contributed on the ground with 54 rushing yards. Despite the strong performance from Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, who amassed 333 passing yards, it was Cleveland's ability to make key plays that ultimately secured the win. Jaylen Waddle was a standout for Denver with 131 receiving yards, but the Browns' offense found ways to capitalize when it mattered most. Defensively, Cleveland's Marlon Humphrey made a significant impact with an interception, helping to turn the tide in favor of the Browns. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Humphrey's pick stifled a potential game-winning drive from the Broncos, allowing Cleveland to maintain their lead and secure the victory. Despite a strong defensive effort from Denver, led by Alex Singleton's 12 tackles and Jonathon Cooper's two sacks, they couldn't overcome the Browns' timely defensive plays.
