In a high-stakes matchup, the Arizona Cardinals topped the Washington Commanders 37-27 in Week 12 of the 2026 season. Both teams were fighting for playoff positioning, making this victory crucial for Arizona as they look to solidify their spot in the postseason. Cardinals quarterback Cade Klubnik put on a show, throwing for 323 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Devin Duvernay was his favorite target, racking up 116 receiving yards and making key catches that helped keep drives alive. The combination of Klubnik's precision and Duvernay's playmaking proved too much for the Commanders' secondary. On the defensive side, the Cardinals were able to apply pressure, with Kaleb Proctor recording a sack that disrupted critical plays. Despite Leo Chenal's strong performance with nine total tackles for Washington, the Cardinals' defense made the necessary stops at pivotal moments. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Arizona's defense forced a turnover, shifting momentum and allowing Klubnik to extend their lead, ultimately sealing the game.
