The Minnesota Vikings narrowly defeated the Atlanta Falcons 19-13 in a tightly contested Week 12 matchup, keeping their playoff hopes alive. With the win, the Vikings improve their standing in the NFC as both teams look to solidify their postseason positions. Kyler Murray led the Vikings' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 221 yards, while Joe Milton managed to score a touchdown for the Falcons despite struggling for consistency. Bijan Robinson was a standout on the ground, rushing for 111 yards, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Vikings' balanced offensive attack. T.J. Hockenson also made a significant impact, racking up 96 receiving yards and providing key plays throughout the game. Defensively, the Vikings capitalized on crucial moments, highlighted by Jakobe Thomas's interception that shifted momentum in their favor. The Falcons' defense was resilient, with Avieon Terrell notching six total tackles and Jalon Walker contributing 1.5 sacks, but they couldn't stifle the Vikings when it mattered most. Minnesota's ability to hold off Atlanta’s late-game surge ultimately sealed their victory.
