The Dallas Cowboys secured a decisive 28-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7 of the 2027 season, a crucial win that keeps them in playoff contention. Both teams entered the matchup looking to solidify their positions, but it was the Cowboys who ultimately emerged victorious on their home turf. Brock Purdy put together a strong performance for the 49ers, throwing for 318 yards and tossing two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball through the air. However, it was Breece Hall’s standout receiving effort, racking up 127 yards, that kept the Cowboys' offense clicking, complemented by Javonte Williams’ steady ground game, who added 68 rushing yards to the mix. Defensively, the Cowboys made key plays at critical moments, highlighted by Jalen Thompson’s interception that halted a promising 49ers drive. The turning point came when Dallas capitalized on this turnover, scoring a touchdown shortly thereafter, which shifted momentum firmly in their favor. Despite a solid defensive effort from Fred Warner and Nick Bosa for San Francisco, the Cowboys' ability to make impactful stops when it mattered most ultimately sealed their victory.
