In a dominating performance, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Baltimore Ravens 54-9 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. The matchup showcased the Chiefs' explosive offense and solidified their position as a formidable contender as they continue their pursuit of a championship. Patrick Mahomes delivered a masterclass, throwing for 318 yards and five touchdowns, connecting seamlessly with wide receiver Jeff Caldwell, who racked up an impressive 198 receiving yards. Despite the Ravens' struggles, Lamar Jackson stood out on the ground, accumulating 123 rushing yards, but his efforts were overshadowed by the Chiefs' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Chiefs were relentless, led by Malachi Lawrence, who recorded four sacks, and Mansoor Delane, who intercepted two passes. The turning point came in the second quarter when Delane's second interception set up another quick touchdown for Kansas City, effectively sealing the game and leaving Baltimore with little room to recover. This win not only highlights the Chiefs' offensive prowess but also their defensive capabilities, which could prove crucial as the season progresses.
