In a tightly contested battle, the Las Vegas Raiders held off the Denver Broncos with a final score of 22-16, improving their record in Week 7 of the 2027 season. This victory was crucial for the Raiders as they look to solidify their standing in a competitive division. Bo Nix led the charge for the Broncos, throwing for 254 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to move the ball through the air. However, it was Ashton Jeanty of the Raiders who made a significant impact on the ground, racking up 90 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Dont'e Thornton Jr. emerged as Nix's primary target, accumulating 116 receiving yards and keeping the Broncos' defense on their toes. Defensively, Khalil Mack proved pivotal for the Raiders, registering a sack that disrupted Denver's offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter, when the Raiders' defense forced a critical turnover, allowing them to maintain their lead. Ja'Quan McMillian's seven tackles for Denver highlighted their effort, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Raiders' balanced attack and clutch defensive plays.
