In a tightly contested matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Denver Broncos 23-16 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to solidify their playoff aspirations, Seattle's victory was crucial in maintaining their momentum as they push further into the season. J.J. McCarthy was the standout performer for the Seahawks, throwing for 273 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. He connected with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who had a stellar game with 102 receiving yards, proving to be a vital target in critical moments. Their chemistry was on full display, providing the Seahawks with the offensive spark they needed to secure the win. Defensively, the Seahawks made significant contributions, led by Drake Thomas with eight total tackles and an interception from Nick Emmanwori, which proved to be a game-changing moment. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Emmanwori's interception halted a promising Broncos drive, allowing Seattle to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. Despite a solid rushing effort from J.K. Dobbins, the Broncos struggled to find their rhythm against a tenacious Seahawks defense.
