The Buffalo Bills topped the New England Patriots 31-17 in a crucial Week 13 matchup, further solidifying their playoff aspirations for the 2026 season. With both teams fighting for positioning in the competitive AFC, this game proved vital for momentum as the regular season enters its final stretch. Josh Allen was the standout performer for Buffalo, throwing for 286 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his prowess as a dual-threat quarterback. He found DJ Moore for a game-high 107 receiving yards, while Ray Davis added a solid ground game with 68 rushing yards, effectively balancing the Bills' offensive attack. Buffalo's offensive efficiency was pivotal, allowing them to maintain control throughout the contest. On the defensive side, the Patriots struggled to contain the Bills' explosive plays, despite Robert Spillane leading the team with 10 total tackles. Christian Elliss managed to record a sack, but New England's inability to generate consistent pressure on Allen allowed him to find his rhythm early. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Bills scored two quick touchdowns, effectively creating a lead that the Patriots could not overcome.
