In a tightly contested matchup, the Carolina Panthers narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings 17-14, solidifying their playoff aspirations in Week 13 of the 2026 season. Both teams battled fiercely, but it was the Panthers who emerged victorious in a game that showcased their resilience and determination. Bryce Young was the standout performer for Carolina, throwing for two touchdowns and leading his team efficiently down the field. A.J. Dillon contributed significantly on the ground with 50 rushing yards, helping to keep the Vikings' defense off-balance. For Minnesota, J.J. McCarthy threw for 191 yards but was unable to find the end zone, hampering his team's chances in critical moments. Defensively, the Panthers were led by Kaiir Elam, who recorded seven total tackles, playing a pivotal role in stifling the Vikings' offensive drives. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when a crucial interception by James Pierre of Minnesota was offset by Dallas Turner's inability to contain Young, allowing the Panthers to secure the win. The relentless pressure from both defenses kept the game thrilling, but it was Carolina's ability to make the decisive plays that ultimately sealed the victory.
