In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the Minnesota Vikings overpowered the Indianapolis Colts with a commanding 35-7 victory. The win keeps the Vikings firmly in the playoff conversation, while the Colts struggle to find their footing in the competitive landscape of the 2026 season. J.J. McCarthy shone for the Vikings, throwing for two touchdowns and leading an efficient passing game, while Joe Mixon powered the ground attack with 94 rushing yards. On the other side, Anthony Richardson Sr. put up solid numbers with 236 passing yards, but the Colts' offense struggled to find the end zone and capitalize on their opportunities. Tyler Warren emerged as a bright spot for Indianapolis with 101 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Vikings imposed their will, limiting the Colts to just one touchdown. The game’s turning point came in the second quarter when Minnesota's defense forced a critical turnover, allowing them to extend their lead and put the Colts on their heels. While A.J. Haulcy led Indianapolis with two interceptions, the Vikings' overall defensive pressure kept the Colts off balance throughout the contest.
