The New England Patriots cruised to a decisive 35-10 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The win solidifies the Patriots' position in the playoff race, while the Bears continue to search for answers as they struggle to find their rhythm this season. Drake Maye was the standout performer for New England, throwing for 302 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his impressive ability to connect with his receivers. Romeo Doubs led the receiving corps with 83 yards, consistently finding space against the Bears’ secondary and contributing significantly to the offensive explosion. Meanwhile, D'Andre Swift was the lone bright spot for Chicago, managing 49 rushing yards but failing to find the end zone. Defensively, the Patriots were formidable, with Carlton Davis III making a game-changing impact by snagging two interceptions. This not only halted potential scoring drives for the Bears but also shifted momentum firmly in favor of New England. The turning point came in the second quarter when Maye threw back-to-back touchdown passes, putting the Patriots ahead 21-3 and effectively sealing the game as Chicago struggled to respond.
