The Jacksonville Jaguars cruised to a decisive 31-3 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 6 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With this win, the Jaguars not only showcased their dominance at home but also sent a strong message to their rivals in the division. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for 42 yards and a touchdown, while Bhayshul Tuten was a force on the ground, racking up 97 rushing yards. The offensive line provided solid protection, allowing Lawrence to operate effectively, and the Jaguars' balanced attack kept the Texans' defense on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, Travis Hunter made a significant impact, recording three interceptions that turned the tide in favor of the Jaguars. The defense as a whole stifled the Texans’ offensive efforts, limiting them to just 23 passing yards and forcing them into unfavorable situations. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Hunter's first interception led to a quick touchdown, effectively putting the game out of reach for Houston.
