In a tightly contested matchup, the Cleveland Browns emerged victorious over the New York Jets, securing a 20-14 win in Week 5 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications looming, both teams fought hard, but it was the Browns who managed to hold off the Jets in the final moments. Deshaun Watson led the charge for Cleveland, throwing for 284 yards and two touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to command the offense effectively. Quinshon Judkins contributed significantly in the receiving game, racking up 82 yards, while Breece Hall was a bright spot for the Jets, gaining 86 rushing yards but unable to find the end zone. Defensively, Grant Delpit made a critical play for the Browns, intercepting a pass that shifted momentum at a pivotal moment in the game. Although Jamien Sherwood of the Jets recorded five tackles and a sack, it wasn't enough to stop Cleveland's offensive surge. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Delpit's interception thwarted a promising Jets drive, sealing the game for the Browns.
